I ate here on my birthday and when I checked my credit card bill, I found out they had added an extra $5 charge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SOOOO ILLEGAL!!!!!!!!! I signed for about $15 including tip and the charge on my bill was $20!!!! I AM SOOO FURIOUS!!!! I posted a review on this site and they somehow got it taken down because it was a 1. So now I'm posting my review a second time. This place should be shut down! FYI... RUDE SERVICE, undercooked fish, insane wait time when only 3 people were in the restaurant. Staff were SUPER SNOTTY.

Dont expect to come in here and get offered bread and hot tea! As soon as we walked in the girl gave us attitude about wanting hot water and then didnt even give us bread! One of the waiters was boozing on the job and the owner, who just came in from the garden in his filty jeans wanted to charge us for a dish that was uneditble! We couldnt even eat the bushetta - the bread was so stale that we couldnt even bite it! And then BE CAREFUL OF THE BILLS!!!! He decided to charge us a huge bill $27 (which we saw when we received our credit card statement) after we signed our signature on a $13 bill. He had jus tacked on extra charges and helped himself to our bank account money! SKEEZE and CRAPPY FOOD AND CRAPPY SERVICE AND CRAPPY OWNER! And ILLEGAL AND WILL NEVER COME AGAIN!

SUPER SNOTTY rude staff drinking on the job. Owner/Manager walked around store in his grungy yardwork clothes. They descriminate against the young - I'm 27 and they treated me like dirt. And I came dressed in my fancy Macy's clothes from my prestigious job for my birthday - I didn't look like a lower class citizen either! They gave everyone else bread but not me. My food was undercooked. And they refused to accept the Sonoma Card Discount Coupon even though they paid for the advertising & created the coupon!!!!! Owner threatened to call the cops if I didn't pay for the rock-hard-unedible-uneaten bruschetta. THEN HE ADDED AN EXTRA $5 CHARGE ON MY CREDIT CARD - MAYBE BECAUSE I DIDNT TIP THEM! THAT IS SOOO ILLEGAL!!!!! THIS PLACE IS BOYCOTTED AND ALL MY CO-WORKERS AND FRIENDS KNOW ABOUT THIS HORRIBLE PLACE.

Great food- best spring rolls I've ever had. Beautiful restaurant and great service. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion or a date night.

The service in this restaurant was poor (at best)- particuarly at the bar. The bartender did not appear to be able to handle the crowd (about 5 people) at the bar- it took about 15 mins for him to even acknowledge us. Also, the hostess was very rude and made a sarcastic comments to us when we walked into the restaurant as well. Seems a little pretentious for a suburban strip mall restaurant. To me, atmosphere is as important as the food-- there are alot better options in Petaluma and surronding Sonoma to choose from. I wouldn't waste my time here, unless you want to go home frustrated.
